Lent is in full swing, and that means meatless Fridays. Although we are sticking with an old stand by this week, my plan is to try some new meatless recipes over the next several weeks.
Monday - Cavatelli with broccoli (my own recipe, but here's a good recipe to try).
Tuesday - BLT's and sweet potato fries
Wednesday - Beef tacos
Thursday - Taking the girls out since the Hubs' has a late meeting, and I am attending an event for Meridian Momtourage.
Friday - Linguine with marinara (the Hubs' recipe).
Saturday - Chili (this is a recipe that the Hubs really wants to try. It's very heavy on the meat, and I don't particularly like barbecue sauce, but I'll give it a whirl.)
Sunday - Hubs is in charge.
What's on your plate this week? Do you follow any religious dietary restrictions during the Lenten season? If so, how do you change up your meatless Fridays?
