Thirsty Thursday: White Wine Spritzers

Craving that glass of wine but trying to cut calories? Opt for a wine spritzer. It's a refreshing twist on your usual glass of wine.


WHITE WINE SPRITZER (Yields 1 cocktail)


Ingredients
Ice cubes
1/2 cup white wine such as sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio
1/4 cup plain seltzer
Ice cubes
Lemon slices
Lime slices

Preparation
1. Fill a large stem glass or a highball glass with ice.
2. Pour the wine into the glass.
3. Add the seltzer.
4. Top with lemon and lime slices.

If desired, gently squeeze citrus slices into the drink before adding.
