It has been non-stop since the wee hours of Monday morning. Some of it fun. Some of it not so much.
Like the root canal I had at 9:15 on Tuesday morning. Fun? Not so much.
There was one thing and one thing only getting me through this week: a family vacation with my three sisters and their respective families.
After my parents passed away years ago, we vowed to keep our annual vacation tradition alive. We haven't missed a year since.
We are heading to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on Saturday morning. It's a week of bonding, relaxing, laughing, and re-connecting. It's a week we eagerly anticipate all year long.
And for good reason. We love being together. It's just that simple.
