Join Stonyfield and Healthy Child Healthy World on Thursday, August 9 at 6pm PST / 9pm EST for a conversation and call-to-action on knowing what’s in our food: from farm to table. With the rise of concerns around food dyes and California’s Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act set to be on this November’s ballot, we believe the timing could not be more pertinent.
The discussion will include panelists representing all facets of food production and consumption, and open up the discussion to talk about buying organic and what resources you use for healthy shopping.
In addition to great prizes, the evening’s tweeting will also support healthy eating: @Stonyfield will donate $2 to @FoodCorps for every tweet with the hashtag #organic!
Guest panelists include:
- Zuri Allen of California Right to Know ballot measure Prop 37 (@CARightToKnow)
- Emily Zweber, an organic dairy farmer-owner within the cooperative behind the Organic Valley brand and the executive director of the AgChat Foundation (@ezweber
- Bettina Elias Siegel (@thelunchtray), a school food reform activist and publisher of The Lunch Tray blog.
