Celebrating a First Holy Communion

I'm not a particularly religious person. Religion wasn't a big part of my upbringing. We weren't regular church goers although we belonged to a parish. But when we had children, the Hubs and I agreed that the Catholic religion would be a part of our children's upbringing. When they reach adulthood, it's their decision whether they make religion a part of their lives.

On Saturday, Harper celebrated her First Holy Communion. It was a special day for our family. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.
