Casual Date Night

Recently the Hubs and I found ourselves with an unexpected night to ourselves. Both girls were at friends' houses for a few hours, and so, we decided to duck out for a quick dinner. Because of our time constraints, I didn't have a lot of time to spend getting gussied up as I normally would for a date night.

I kept the white jeans that I had been wearing all day on and threw on a black lace top and heels, and quickly swapped out my tote for a clutch. I kept my jewelry to a minimum since I didn't want it to compete with the top. The bracelets are a few years old from TJ Maxx.

We stopped at a place along the Manasquan River for a pre-dinner drink and then headed to one of our favorite spots for dinner. This outfit was the perfect choice for our casual night.
