Winter isn't the only time for dry skin. Salt water and chlorine can wreak havoc on your skin during the summer months. I've found the perfect solution for keeping skin moisturized perfectly.
Johnson's Baby Oil Gel with Cocoa Butter is my go-to moisturizing product this summer. It is applied in the shower once you've turned the water off but before you dry off. For best results it must be applied to wet skin. It immediately seeps into your skin without feeling oily the way regular baby oil often does. Plus, it's a thick gel so there's no slippery residue on the shower floor.
It can be found in most mass retailers, drug stores and grocery stores. It is available in several varieties, but I love the cocoa butter. $3 for 6.5 oz.
Method All-Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner in Pink Grapfruit. Love. This. Stuff. The scent is wonderful. I use it for my kitchen countertop. It cuts grease and grime and is safe for counters, tile, wood, stone, and glass. It is non-toxic and completely plant-based. I've always been a big fan of the Method line of soaps and cleaners and was happy to come across this in my grocery store. A 28 fl. oz. bottle costs $4 at most retailers.

I've been a huge fan of Amex for years. While I loved that the balance had to be paid each month, I also disliked that. But at the end of the day, I am always looking for a safer way to spend and manage my money. The new Amex prepaid card has no annual fee. You can load the card online and by phone, and you can add money to the card from a bank account or with cash via MoneyPak. The card can be used at locations and ATMs where American Express is accepted.
You can reload the card as often as you wish with no fees being assessed. There are no overdraft charges. You can spend only what your available balance is. It's perfect for keeping you in line when you might otherwise veer off course. ;)
