What We're Reading

Monday, June 17, 2019

This is the last week of school before summer break. We've been creating summer reading lists and bucket lists like crazy. Although the weather lately hasn't felt at all summer-like, I know we are on the cusp of warm days that beg for reading by the pool or beach. When it finally happens, we'll be ready for it!

Here are the books we are currently enjoying:

What I'm Reading: Paranoid by Lisa Jackson (Available for pre-order for 6/25 release date)
I received an advance copy of this book to do some promotional social media. I started it over the weekend, and it really is a hard one to put down. From page 1, you are immediately sucked in. Past and present are weaved together in this griping story of a murder that happened 20 years prior and how the pieces of the present are weaved together. and You can pre-order it on Amazon for its release on June 25th.

What Emma's Reading: Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum
After moving from Chicago to LA after her father marries a woman he met online, Jessie has trouble fitting into her new high school. Until she receives an anonymous offer of help navigating the halls (and people) of the school. But is it real or a hoax?

What Harper's Reading: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
This is the first book in the wildly popular series. Four friends share their ups and downs while they turn from teenagers to adults and travel along the way.
