So, here we go! This is what's on the menu this week:
Monday - We'll be going to a Labor Day BBQ. We'll be making grilled chicken and this Caprese Farfalle to close out summer.

Tuesday - Steak tacos with a side of refried beans. This is a great way to use leftover steak. We grilled a butter steak on Sunday night, and at least half of it remains.

Wednesday - Summer garden chicken stir fry served over rice. This is one of Emma's all-time favorite meals, and since it's her first day of high school, I thought I'd surprise her with it for dinner! You can swap out any veggies you like.

Thursday - Cheesy calzones. These are just as fun to make as they are to eat. Get creative with what you stuff inside. We like turkey pepperoni, green peppers, and olives. This is a great way to get your kids into kitchen.

Friday - Dinner out
Saturday - Grilled shrimp Caesar salad (grilled chicken for the Hubs who despises seafood). Who doesn't love Caesar salad? This meal is simple to pull together, and if you don't want to make your own dressing, Ken's has a Caesar dressing that's a great fill in.

Sunday - Slow cooker chili. It is football season after all! Although the weather forecast isn't really ideal for chili, it's Sunday during football season, so we are going for it. I use my own recipe, but I like this one and this one. And don't forget the cornbread!
