Tuesday's Tasty Treat: Banana Blueberry Smoothie

If you have trouble getting your kids to eat their fruit, try a smoothie. They are a quick and easy way for children (and adults) to get 2 servings of fruit. I've been making smoothies for my daughters for years, and here is one of their all-time favorite recipes.

Banana Blueberry Smoothies (Serves 2)

Ingredients
1 cup of orange juice
1 cup non-fat yogurt (We like Stonyfield Farm Oikos Greek yogurt)
1/2 cup blueberries, washed
2 bananas, cut into pieces (preferably frozen)

Preparation
1. Measure all ingredients into a blender and place the top on it.

2. Blend on the puree setting until smooth, about 30 seconds.
