My favorite weekend wear in the winter is a great pair of jeans and a light sweater. I'm not big on chunky turtlenecks. While I think they look fab on everyone else, they seem to envelope me since I'm petite. On Saturday morning, I woke before the Hubs and kids to get out of the house to tie up some loose ends (exchange a few gifts, grab some groceries, and do a Starbucks run). I reached for my favorite pair of distressed denim, a lightweight cowl neck sweater, and wedge booties.
When I first saw this sweater by prAna, I immediately fell in love with the color block sleeves. I love the contrast the color adds to this simple sweater.
These wedge booties are incredibly comfortable and don't strain your feet when running from the car to stores.
