Trendspotting: Millenial Pink

Millenial pink. Everyone's talking about it. Everyone's wearing it. Everyone's decorating with it. It's time to ride the millenial pink wave. This color isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so get in the game.

In today's installment of Friday Fresh Picks I'm sharing a few of my favorite millenial pink items...to wear and to decorate with.

1. Safavieh Maison Textured Wool Rug (price depends on size)
Make a statement with this stylish rug in an oversized trellis print. It's available in 6 colors, but this blush pink is my favorite.

2. Adidas Gazelle Sneakers ($80)
This classic sneaker gets a modern update with a narrower silhouette and an on-trend color. While everyone else is sporting the black and white leather Adidas sneakers, you'll stand out in these.

3. Hunter Original High Gloss Wellies ($150)
If you are a long-time reader around here (or a follower on Instagram), you know how much I adore my Hunter Wellies. Yes, they are a coveted possession and well worth the money. I've owned mine for close to 7 years. This adorable pink color wasn't available when I purchased mine, but I seriously need these in my life. How Instagram-worthy are they??

4. Wet N Wild Tickled Pink Nail Color ($1)
I love a light nail color for spring, and this one is flattering on all skin tones. This color is perfect on your toes too. In fact, I'm going to be wearing it on my toes when we go to Arizona in a few weeks.

5. Herschel Supply Co.'s Town Backpack ($60)
While most backpacks often take on a very utilitarian look, this one is soft and feminine with the help of its pink pastel color. Having a child with diabetes means I am often lugging around all sorts of supplies from testing monitors to insulin pens to extra snacks. A bag like this is roomy enough for all my essentials and takes the pressure off my shoulders.

6. Crispin Drop Earrings from Bauble Bar ($48)
Take one look at Instagram and you are sure to see these earrings in some form on several style bloggers. They seem to be the "it" earring of the moment. I love this pale pink because it's versatile and will complement just about any color.

7. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Blooming Lip Balm ($29)
As I've gotten older, I've leaned more towards lighter, natural shades of lipsticks. Dark shades can be aging, and it's difficult to find a flattering one. This pink shade adds a natural glow giving you a you youthful appearance.

8. Everly Knit Wrap Dress ($26)
This dress! I'm swooning over this incredible dress...and the price too! I love wrap dresses, and this one is just too good to pass up.

9. Steve Madden Ankle Strap Sandal ($80)
This style sandal continues to enjoy popularity. This one has a block heel which gives you so much more support and is less harsh on your feet (a plus for us over 40 gals who just cannot do high heels without being in complete and utter pain at the end of the day). This Steve Madden sandal is available in 11 gorgeous colors including a fuchsia pink and a glittery rose gold (!!!). I also love this pair, this pair, and this pair too.

10. Rebecca Minkoff Leo Envelope Clutch ($95)
The Rebecca Minkoff Leo clutches are, hands down, my all-time favorite clutches. I love the streamlined, minimalistic design, and the fact they come in every color under the sun is an added bonus.
