Apple Cider Floats

Let's agree. Dessert is pretty much the best part of any meal, especially Thanksgiving. Pies, pies, pies! Yes, please. But if you are looking to switch things up a bit this year when it comes to Thanksgiving dessert, why not try an apple cider float? They are especially fun for the kids, are easy to make, and don't require a ton of ingredients or a long baking time.



APPLE CIDER FLOATS

Ingredients
2 cups apple cider
1 cinnamon stick (more for garnish, if desired)
1 cup vanilla ice cream (or any flavor you prefer)
Caramel sauce for garnishing (optional)
Cinnamon sugar for garnishing (optional)

Preparation
1. Drizzle caramel sauce down the sides of the glasses.
2. Pour chilled cider into 2 float glasses.*
3. Top with ice cream, caramel sauce and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar.

*Alternate preparation: In a small saucepan, heat cider with cinnamon stick.
