Weekend Dispatch

I've got a full plate this weekend with Easter, a family birthday party, and packing for our spring break trip to San Diego next week. But I'm going to try to do at least one or two things on this list. I know it'll be a busy weekend for most of us, but if you have a moment to spare, check out a few of these recs.

In preparation for the flight to California next week, I've already downloaded The Perfect Date on Netflix. It's come highly recommended from trusted sources (friends, websites, etc.). It looks a little cutesy, but this is exactly the type of movie I enjoy watching on a flight.

Also, for my fellow "Star Wars" fans, the trailer to the final installment "The Rise of Skywalker" dropped over the weekend, and it looks pretty epic.

I've been obsessively listening to Over My Dead Body this week. This is a true crime podcast, which are some of the most popular podcasts out there. The first season, Tally, focuses on a couple from Tallahassee, Florida who appear to have it all. Dan and Wendi have good looks, great jobs, a perfect life. Until one of them is found dead. This podcast follows the investigation into the murder and the revelations that followed. It will leave you pondering the question, "Can you trust anyone?"

If you are hosting Easter brunch this weekend, you'll want to serve this mimosa sangria. You can't go wrong with two fabulous cocktails in one. Better make a double batch!

Just because you're not a kid anymore and you don't have young kids anymore doesn't mean you can't have an Easter egg hunt. I love these ideas for fun and creative egg hunt ideas that the entire family will enjoy. Everything from a glow-in-dark egg hunt to a puzzle piece egg hunt, you'll forget there's no candy involved!

Have a wonderful Easter! 🐰

Note: Weekend Dispatch will return on April 30th. Next week we'll be in San Diego and rather than publishing a Weekend Dispatch, I'll be sharing our trip itinerary.
