Friday Fresh Picks: My Latest Discoveries

Why, hello Friday. It's nice to see you!

This week kicked my butt. It started out strong, but I hit a snag mid-week when my oldest was home from school sick. I think I'm a fairly flexible and adaptable person, but when my kids are home sick, it takes me half the day to adjust.

Needless to say, I am ready for the weekend. Harper and I have a mother-daughter day tomorrow when Emma will be at church all day for a retreat to prepare for her Confirmation. The Hubs will be with her for part of the day, and we will return to attend mass with her at 5:00. But prior to that Harper and I are going out for breakfast and then going to (finally!!) see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We cannot wait!!

In this week's Friday Fresh Picks, I'm sharing a few of my latest discoveries.

Favorite On-The-Go Snack

I discovered Nourish Snacks a few weeks ago when my gym had a few varieties available in the cafe. I picked up several bags, but the 'Miss Popular' and 'Mind your P's & BBQs' are my favorites.

Favorite Buffalo Check Item

Buffalo check is the print to wear these days. I absolutely love this scarf (also available in black and white). This scarf would look great with a pair of black faux leather leggings and a chambray shirt.

Favorite Yoga Tee

For yoga, I don't like wearing tight fitting clothes. This cross back tee is one of my favorites for practicing yoga. It's loose but fitted in all the right places, and the cross back is so stylish.

Favorite Dry Shampoo

I've tried many, many dry shampoos, but the R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo has won my heart. It adds body and volume, and unlike most other dry shampoos, it actually makes my hair shiny rather than dull and powdery-looking.

Favorite Shelf Accessory

I am not into unicorns, per se, but these unicorn bookends add a whimsical touch to any space.

Favorite Tote

I'm already thinking about farmers' market season, and this 'talk is chic' bag is the perfect vessel for carrying all my goodies.
