Friday Fresh Picks: How I'll Spend a Snowy Weekend

We are gearing up for one whopper of a snow storm this weekend. Most of the day tomorrow will be spent indoors, and to say that I am prepared is an understatement. I've got my day mapped out from what I'll be reading to what I'll be munching on. If you're in the snow belt, good luck shoveling yourself out. If you are lucky enough to be enjoying sunny skies and warm temperatures, enjoy your fortunate weather. Wherever you are and whatever you'll be doing, have a fab weekend! xx

What I'll Be Reading ~ The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

I'm not far into this book, and already I am singing its praises. It has changed my approach to everything from grocery shopping to clothing shopping to everyday tidying up. This book has made me so much more aware of what I bring in to my home and into my life.

What I'll Be Wearing ~ Heat Holders Socks

My feet are always cold. A few years ago I was sent a pair of Heat Holders to review. They were the warmest, coziest socks ever. I wore my original pair out and bought a new pair at Marshalls last week. This pair is perfect to wear with my Hunter boots in the snow and around the house when the temps dip down.

What I'll Be Savoring ~ Pink Peony Scented Soy Candle

This soy candle (which is only $5!!) has a light, refreshing scent that's reminiscent of spring...which will certainly be a welcome scent after I come indoors from shoveling a foot of snow this weekend.

What I'll Be Snacking On ~ goodness knows cranberry, almond, dark chocolate bar

Out of curiosity, I bought one of these bars one day after the gym. Oh. My. God. So. Freakin'. Good. I love chocolate but most candy is empty calories. This bar is healthy, and I can enjoy it guilt-free.

What I'll Be Using ~ Cat Bag Clips

Seriously. How cute are these black cat bag clips??? I found them by accident at Bed Bath & Beyond and had to buy them. My husband thinks I am crazy...

What I'll Be Listening To ~ Ryan Adams' 1989

I love Taylor Swift's 1989, and I love me some Ryan Adams. Now I get the best of both worlds with Adams' cover of Swift's 1989. Swift reigns supreme, but Adams does a nice job of covering most of her songs in a deep soulful way with acoustic guitars and a melancholic spin on TSwizzle's tunes.

What I'll Be Watching ~ 90210 on Netflix

I don't know how I got sucked into this one, but I did. The original Beverly Hills 90210 premiered while I was in college, and I was a huge fan. So, naturally, I had to check this modern version out. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. Full disclosure: the scenes of L.A. had me at Hello.
