Things settle down a bit this week, thankfully. I'm not one for being idle. I like to stay busy, but I don't like spending tons of time driving my kids around from place to place, and that's exactly how I seemed to spend most of my time last week. I'm adding one menu item from last week onto this week. My youngest went to a sleepover on Friday night (you can read all about my anxiety here), so we ended up getting take out instead of making linguine. Here's to a calmer, saner week ahead.
Monday - Pennsylvania Dutch chicken pot pie. I don't use a recipe. My mom taught me how to make this many years ago. The linked recipe is a good one to use. However, I omit the carrots.
Tuesday - Linguine with oil and garlic. I'll be going to the movies tonight, so I want something easy to make and easy to clean up.
Wednesday - Italian stuffed peppers
Thursday - Lemon chicken tortellini soup with a side salad.
Friday - Take out.
Saturday - Hubs is on dinner duty.
Sunday - Five-bean chili with corn bread croutons
