1. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion $17
My perimenopausal skin has been going crazy lately. I can't seem to fend off breakouts on my forehead and chin. This drying lotion has literally saved me. After your night time cleansing, apply a small amount on the affected area. In the morning, wash and rinse as normal. And voila, the breakout is visibly diminished.
2. Eos Lip Balm $3
Functional and pretty, Eos lip balms are silk for your lips. One swipe and your lips will feel smoother and softer. They are available in several flavors and a medicated variety too.
3. L'Occitane Hand Cream - Pivione Flora (Peonies) $12
This light floral scent is enough to give you a nice aroma but not too strong as some of the L'Occitane creams can be. I love the way this softens and nourishes dry skin without being too thick or greasy.
This was my big splurge last month. The colors are amazing...all my favorites, and they are perfect for the upcoming cooler months. Plus, when you open the tin, you get a whiff of sweet chocolate. I'll take it.
