This month is always a busy one as we transition from an easy summer to a busy back to school season. Our focus this month will be on organization tips and tricks to make heading back to school easier for everyone in the family. We will also be gearing up for fall, my second favorite season. We'll be sharing fall recipes and suggestions for fun family activities and outings.
And let's not forget fall fashion. I've been poring over all the runway shots for fall 2015, and the trends and colors are gorgeous! We'll start to focus a bit more on fashion for girls starting this month. Emma and Harper will make regular appearances on the blog modeling a few of their favorite fashions and accessories.
And it's finally coming, friends! The most exciting post to date is coming up this month also. I know I promised this last month, but with our vacation at the end of August, I needed more time to devote to putting the posts together and promoting them. It's my big dining room makeover with Raymour & Flanigan! I am beyond thrilled about this project, and the folks at Raymour & Flanigan have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I am bursting at the seams with excitement. This will be a series of three posts starting with the state of my dining room pre-makeover. The second post will be my BIG reveal!! And next month, I'll be sharing our dining room in action.
Sit back and enjoy the ride!

SEPTEMBER MUST HAVES
September weather can be unpredictable. Cool mornings give way to warm afternoons. Grab this zip-cuff open cardigan to take the chill off.
Essie's "After School Boy Blazer" polish is the perfect shade for transitioning into September.
Give your sandals a break this month and make the switch to a great pair of flats. I love this pointy-toe, lace-up flat from Topshop.
