Who's ready for a new month? I certainly am. A new month is a fresh start. We could all use one of those, amirite? March is a good time to reassess the New Year's resolutions you made and determine how you'll move forward. Having two months of the year behind us, we can use March is a chance to set some reasonable and actionable goals for the rest of the year without being too hard on ourselves for not accomplishing everything we set forth to do at the beginning of the year.
Plus, it's time to start thinking about beefing up your spring wardrobe. It's always good to add a few pieces while tweaking a few old ones as well. And then there's spring cleaning...a dreaded task for sure. I don't really do a large scale spring cleaning. I try to keep my house "drop-in guest-ready" at all times, and I'll share a few of the ways I accomplish that. The spring and summer travel seasons are approaching, and I'll be chatting about packing hacks that I swear by, and some of my travel favorites from outfits to carry-on bags to on board entertainment.
Since March is National Nutrition Month, you can expect to see healthy recipes and meal suggestions on the blog this month. I'll be sharing my pre- and post-workout meals as well as the healthy snacks I reach for in the afternoons.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy these popular stories from February.

MARCH MUST-HAVES
I love wearing the trends, but I don't like spending a ton of money on the trends. They come and go so quickly that I'd rather invest in classic pieces and skimp on the trendy ones. This polka dot tie-neck blouse is about as trendy as you can get, and it's only $13!!
A great flat shoe is a must for spring, and if we are sticking to trends here, let's talk mules. Mules are still enjoying their day in the sun, and for good reason. They are incredibly comfortable and cute! These sunny yellow mules are the perfect complement to a gorgeous spring day.
Spring is layering season. So it's always a good idea to arm yourself with plenty of options in the form of jackets, sweaters, puffer vests, etc. My favorite spring jacket is the utility jacket. This utility jacket is part-moto, part-utility, but in any case, it's very chic, which is important when choosing such a utilitarian piece of apparel. It comes in both olive (shown) and a soft gray.
Every spring I like to buy a candle that brings the outside in. I found this coastal inspired candle at Crate & Barrel. Although it is on the pricey side ($65), it burns for 90 hours and is high-quality. You'll immediately be transported to a beach house with the scent of lemon, coastal lily, blue lotus, beach grass, amber and ginger...that's cheaper than the cost of renting a beach house!
