10 Things I'm Loving at Amazon Right Now

Saturday, December 28, 2019

Everyone knows that Amazon is the first place you go to find anything. You can find things you need, and you can find things you didn't know you needed. Amazon has so much good stuff in one place that it's easy to fall down the rabbit hole when browsing. And with Prime 2-day shipping, it's almost like instant gratification. I recently went down said rabbit hole and found all sorts of things I needed. If I didn't them, then they'd most definitely be good to have.

1. Desk/Mouse Pad - I finally ordered this desk pad after having my mouse go off the mouse pad one too many times while I was trying to crop for a screenshot. Thanks to Prime shipping, it was on my desk and in use two days later. It's been a few weeks since I've gotten it, and I still love it as much today as I did the first day I used it. Its functional and pretty too! Definitely one of the best $10 purchases I've ever made.

2. Indian Healing Clay Mask - This cleansing mask has a cult following for good reason. It's amazing! As a rosacea sufferer, this mask has been a game changer in helping to reduce the redness on my face. And if you are acne-prone (oh, hey, pesky midlife breakouts!), this clay mask helps to dry them up. I love the way my face feels after I use it. My pores feel so clean.

3. Deep Sleep Pillow Spray - As anyone who knows me well, and they'll tell you that I am not a good sleeper. I never have been. But I do understand the importance of sleep and how beneficial it is to our bodies. Over the past year, I've been taking steps to get a better night's sleep. One of those steps has been using this pillow spray that I actually spray on my sheets too. It's a natural sleep aid that fragrances your bed and calm your nerves to better prepare you to fall asleep easily and naturally. And it smells divine!

4. Hydro Flask Travel Mug - During the cold winter months, I drink tea throughout the day. The problem is that I like to drink it from a mug with a handle. But most mugs aren't insulated to keep my tea hot, and those that are (i.e., travel mugs) don't have handles. When I found this mug from Hydro Flask, I knew it was the answer to my problems. My daughter swears by her Hydro Flask water bottle, and I am hoping that this mug exceeds my expectations.

5. Multiple Languages Hello Sweatshirt - How cute is this sweatshirt? I've seen a similar t-shirt at J.Crew, but I love the sweatshirt for lounging around the house or heading out to the gym.

6. Aligner Fresh - If you or your child wear aligner trays or retainers, this cleanser is for you. It's peroxide-based, so it's safe and effective. It's super easy to use. No soaking for 15 minutes. You merely spray it on the aligners and brush with a toothbrush to cleanse. And it keeps the trays from discoloring.

7. Acne Patch - Consider these your secret weapon against pesky pimples. These patches work by absorbing fluids from pimples without drying out your skin. They are skin-colored and can be worn day or night as a protective cover to preventing picking and touching.

8. Water Tumbler - I've been in the market for a new water tumbler for the gym. I am currently using one I bought at Starbucks many years ago, and it's starting to show it's age not to mention that I'm not loving the floral/palm leaf print on it anymore. I just ordered this one, and it should be here in a few days (gotta love Prime!). It comes it several sizes, but I ordered the 24 ounce one in hopes of being motivated to drink more water throughout the day.

9. Maybe You Should Talk To Someone by Lori Gottlieb - I've heard so many great things about this book from everyone who has read it or is currently reading it. It's been on my to read list for a while, but I'm thinking this might be the book to read to kick off 2020.

10. Immersion Blender - A few weeks ago when I went to use my hand mixer, it was no where to be found. I have no idea when I last used it or where I could have put it (not to mention, I could find only one beater). I jumped online to order a new one, but found that an immersion blender can do the same thing as a hand held mixer and so much more. You can use it for smoothie, frothing milk for lattes and cappuccinos, making baby food, mashing potatoes, and more. It's in my cart. Just waiting for after the holidays to order it.
