One area where I've really scaled back during this quarantine is beauty. I'm wearing less makeup and spending less money on beauty-related items. I am still taking diligent care of my skin (cleansing and moisturizing morning and night), but I'm not doing my normal daily makeup routine, and my focus on beauty products is leaning a little more towards those of the inexpensive-but-effective variety.

Since I like to think that we are all paying a little more attention to our bank accounts right now (whether you are currently employed or not), I wanted to share ten of the beauty products I am currently using and loving, all under $10.

1. When you are short on time (or just plain lazy), these makeup remover wipes from Pacifica will do the trick. And while they remove makeup, dirt, and grime, they'll also give you a gorgeous glow.

2. I love doing my own manicures, but I hate waiting for the nail polish to dry. Essie, my favorite brand of nail polish, has recently introduced Expressie, a quick-dry polish that dries in about a minute.

3. I originally bought this moisturizer because I read that it helps prevent acne flare ups. But after a few uses, I was thrilled with The Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA moisturizer for so many more reasons. Now I use it each morning as a light day moisturizer.

4. For me, a shower or a bath needs to be a luxurious experience starting with the shower gel. Soap & Glory's Clean On Me shower gel is a rich, creamy and robustly scented clarifying shower gel that will give you a blissful bathing experience.

5. There isn't much that needs to be said about this mascara. Maybelline's Great Lash is a cult classic that has stood the test of time for generations of women.

6. If all that hand washing is doing a number on your skin, it's time for a good hand cream. Molton Brown's Hand Cream leaves your hands exquisitely soft and smelling amazing.

7. It's finally happening...that pesky midlife peach fuzz is starting to grow on my face. So, it's time to tackle it with these Tinkle Razors. For use on eyebrows and for microdermaplaning fine facial hair and dead skin.

8. Now that I'm not wearing makeup everyday, I've been this Mario Badescu Facial Spray to hydrate and refresh my skin throughout the day. A few quick sprays of the mist is all it takes to wake up your skin.

9. I am desperately trying to preserve my hair color until this quarantine ends. Any blonde knows that you hair takes a turn for the worst when your color needs a refresh. Until that happens, I'm using Elvive Purple Shampoo from L'Oréal to help maintain my color for as long as I can.

10. This isn't the first time I've written about these pimple patches from COSRX. They are a great remedy if you are prone to a single pimple here and there every once in a while. They are little medicated stickers that you apply overnight to help dry out the blemish.
