I'm about to burst at the seams! I got my first gig as an amateur photog!!! :) Yay!! It's a volunteer position with Emma's school yearbook committee. It'll be great experience and an excellent opportunity to apply my skills. Do I care that I won't be paid? Not at all. After all, I've never been financially compensated for the most rewarding job I've ever had. Of course, with all this excitement comes trepidation. Fear of failure. Pictures that just don't measure up. But I need to be brave and take a risk. It's been a while since I've stepped out of the box.
