The Streets of Philadelphia

Two weeks ago the girls and I drove to Philadelphia for the day to visit my sister April, a flight attendant who had a weekend layover in the City of Brotherly Love. I lived in suburban Philly for many years, but always spent time in the city to eat, shop, or for cultural events. I'm ashamed to say that I've never really seen Philadelphia through the eyes of a tourist.

While we didn't do a whole lot of sightseeing during this trip, we did make our way through some historic neighborhoods. It was almost like taking a walk back in time.

It all started with a trip over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge which crosses the Delaware River between New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
