Happy November ~ Letter From The Editor

Sunday, November 1, 2015
November is one of my favorite months of the year. Each November we take a 10-day vacation to Florida. We return home, and celebrate my favorite holiday a week later. The weather is just starting to get chilly but not so much so that it's unbearable. It's perfect sweater weather! What's not to love about that?

Although I'll be away for 10 days, this month on the blog will be anything but boring. I'll be posting while I am away, and I'll be especially active on Instagram so be sure to follow me there. Captiva Island and South Beach are beautiful. You can bet I'll be posting lots of gorgeous shots.

What to expect this month on Pieces of a Mom? Well, it's one of the busiest shopping months of the year. Yay!! I love a good deal, and I'll be sharing a few of them this month as we head into the holiday shopping season starting with Black Friday.

I'll also be recapping our vacation. But before we go, I'm sharing a post on reasons to take your family to the resort where we stay, South Seas Island Resort. Trust me on this one. You'll want to pack your bags and go once you read it.

I've got a fabulous giveaway from prAna, a travel, yoga, and outerwear clothing company that you will love. And of course, I'll be sharing my favorite fab finds in Friday Fresh Picks each week.

Stay tuned! There is so much good stuff around the corner, and of course, if there is anything specific you want to see covered, send me an email at piecesofamom {at} gmail {dot} com.

NOVEMBER MUST-HAVES

A blanket scarf - Don't miss out on fall's hottest accessory. I love the rich colors in this plaid scarf.

A cape - Fall's hottest coat in an eye catching plaid.

Essie's "Wicked" is the perfect combination of reddish brown for November.

A suede ankle strap flat is a great alternative to ballet flats. This deep, rich suede can carry you into winter too.
See what I'm pinning!
