Playing Favorites

Playing Favorites is a monthly series where I share my latest obsessions, favorite finds, and any kind of entertainment (books, movies, TV, podcasts, and magazines) that I am loving. Here's what I am loving this month.

1. Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray - When I first bought this facial spray, I intended to use it solely on my face, but after reading a few reviews, I learned it had other beneficial uses as well. I most frequently use it after I moisturize at night. I spray it on my face as an added layer of hydration for the overnight hours. It can also be used to set your makeup or two spray on the ends of your hair if its dry.

2. Primal Strips Vegan Jerky - Before I became a vegetarian, I occasionally snacked on beef jerky (it was usually homemade by my sister and so good and spicy). I liked the chewy texture and the kick. So naturally when I became vegetarian, I missed my occasional jerky treat until I discovered Primal Strips. This vegan jerky fills the gap when I am hangry and need to have something fast.

3. Pardon My French T-Shirt - I love a fun graphic tee, and this one does all the talking for you. You know I love anything French, so this tee was a must for me. As soon as I saw it, I ordered it and picked it up in store at Nordstrom (Gotta love that, and Nordy card holders can even arrange for curbside pickup!!). I can't wait to wear it alone or with my favorite blazer and my favorite distressed denim.

4. Spritz Gold Disposable Cutlery - I happened upon this plastic cutlery by accident at Target last month and thought it would be perfect for our New Year's Eve celebration. So I picked up a few packages. I was disappointed when we used all the pieces. I checked online, and I was in luck when I found that there is a 60-piece package in stock!! Score!

5. Tortoise Link Necklace - When I bought this tortoise necklace, it quickly became my favorite. When I came across the one pictured, I knew I had to have it. It's currently on sale for under $30, and I love the addition of the blush colored acrylic beads.

6. Skyn Iceland Neck Firming Gels - Since turning 50 last month, it seems as if every little wrinkle is magnified, larger, and deeper. While I know that fillers and possibly Botox for my face are not so off in my future, I wasn't quite sure how to address the aging skin on my neck. But then on a recent trip to Ulta Beauty, I found these AMAZING neck firming gels. They are life changing. Just 10 minutes per week will help firm up your neck and give you a more youthful look.
