Friday Fresh Picks: What's On My Radar

Hello, Memorial Day weekend! I thought you'd never get here. Thanks for bringing the great weather, too. It's finally feeling like summer around here, and I couldn't be happier. Twice this week I was able to hit the boardwalk at lunch for a nice, long walk. Everyone from residents to merchants is getting ready for the summer season. It's bustling, and although I often despise the crowds, I do love the excitement of these first few days of "summer".

In this week's Friday Fresh Picks, I'm sharing a few of the things on my radar lately.

Not only do I love "Better Place" by Rachel Platten, but believe it or not, the video is better than the song. I love the concept behind the video, and how genuinely joyful Platten is by the reactions.
