that microwave popcorn contains small amounts of chemicals that, in very large doses, pose a health risk? The bags are lined with perfluorooctanoic acid, a chemical that has been shown to cause cancer and liver tumors in rats. The artificially flavored variety is made with a chemical called diacetyl, which has been known to cause lung disease in workers who were exposed to the the chemical in the production plant. Your exposure to the chemical isn't as high as the production employees. This is not meant to alarm anyone, only alert you.
We love microwave popcorn. It's easy and it's tasty! But maybe once in a while it might be worth it to pop our own salty snack!!

Oh Wow! I didn't know that. Makes me not wanna pop any more in the micro. Thanks for the warning.
I read that too, did you know you can pop it in a regular brown lunch bag? I saw that somewhere and meant to note it down. I wonder if that would be healthier for you. I am sure air popping is probably the best.
I wanted to tell you that if you make the apple tree, you may need to go back and hot glue on the buttons if you Harper likes to run around with her projects like ER does afterward. They popped off ours, I try to keep them hung up but she really likes to carry her art work around for some reason.
