April Beauty Buys

Several great discoveries last month, and I'm thrilled to share them with you. From skin to hair to nails to teeth, I'm covering all the bases.

1. Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies $10
Last month I engaged in a 30-day challenge with these supplements in an effort to improve the overall health of my hair, skin, and nails. While these supplements worked wonders on my hair and skin, they didn't do much to help my nails. My hair was shinier, and I swear, it grew faster with these. My skin was free of those pesky peri menopausal breakouts that I've been experiencing lately. I was disappointed, however, that the supplements didn't help my brittle, peeling nails very much. But I plan to continue with them since I loved how they helped my hair and skin.

2. Colgate Enamel Health Multi-Purpose Toothpaste $5
After my most recent dental exam and cleaning, my dentist recommended this toothpaste to help weakened enamel. I'm not sure if it's helping to strengthen my enamel, but my teeth feel smoother and look more polished.

3. Colgate Enamel Health Toothbrush and Built-In Sensitivity Relief Pen $13
I am currently using an at-home teeth whitening kit, and this brush has proven to be extremely effective at helping to relieve my ultra-sensitive gums as a result of the whitening gel. For more information on the Colgate Enamel Health products, click here.

4. Sally Hansen Nail Rehab $10
If you read the details for item #1, you know that I suffer brittle and peeling nails. It's primarily my index and middle fingers on both of my hands. Although I have tried many types of polishes and strengtheners, nothing has seemed to help. Until I found Sally Hansen Nail Rehab. This polish is a miracle worker and even looks nice when worn alone.

5. Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream $18
This feels very light on the skin but works in a powerful way to soften, smooth, and restore dull, dry, and tired looking skin. I've been using it nightly for about 3 weeks, and I am definitely seeing results and loving the subtle change in my fine lines.
