Friday Fresh Picks: Birthday Edition

Today is my birthday. There's a point in our lives when we dread birthdays. It's that point in our thirties when growing older and aging are not-so-welcome prospects. But then we turn a corner and realize that birthdays are a reason to celebrate. They mean we are another year older AND wiser. I'm at that point in my life now. It means I've lived and experienced another year, and I am reminded how precious life is.
