Cocktails That Are Perfect For Labor Day Weekend

Will you be entertaining guests this weekend or heading over to a friend's house to bid farewell to summer? Either way, you'll want to serve or take the cocktail that will become the talk of the party. I've got a few recipes to share today that feature Sparkling Ice, the naturally-made, zero sugar, zero calorie sparkling water brand. Sparkling Ice products make it super simple to make tasty cocktails that your guests will love!

LEMON CUCUMBER COCKTAIL

Ingredients
2 Cucumber Slices
2 oz. Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Brewed Green Tea, Chilled
½ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Lemonade Sparkling Ice

Preparation
1. In a chilled highball glass, muddle the cucumber then add the vodka, green tea, and lemon juice.
2. Fill the glass halfway with ice and float with Lemonade Sparkling Ice.


PEACH SANGRIA

Ingredients
1 peach, sliced
½ orange, sliced
¾ cup peach brandy
1 bottle white wine, chilled
4 cups Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade

Preparation
1. Place peaches, oranges, cranberries and brandy in a pitcher then lightly muddle.
2. Add wine and Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade and stir.
3. Serve over ice and garnish with a peach slice (or use a frozen peach slide as an ice cube).

GINGER JELL-O SHOTS

Ingredients
16 oz. Sparkling Ice Ginger Lime
10 limes
1 cup vodka
2 packages unflavored gelatin
2 tbsp. chopped mint

Preparation
1. Cut the limes in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides, set to the side.
2. In a saucepan, add Sparkling Ice Ginger Lime, sprinkle gelatin over and allow to sit for 2 minutes. 3. Place over low heat and stir until dissolved, about 5 min.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vodka and mint.
5. Pour mixture into lime halves and place into the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
6. Cut limes in half to serve and enjoy!

PALOMA POPSICLE

Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar (granulated)
1 cup Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit
1 tbsp. grapefruit zest
1/4 cup lime juice
1/3 cup tequila
Pinch of salt

Preparation
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Ice.
2. Stir until sugar dissolves and remove from heat.
3. Pour into a large bowl and add zest, lime juice, tequila, and salt.
4. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze overnight.
