I often wondered this...how long can we stay on the swings once a line has formed? Anyone care to venture a guess?
The playground that we frequent most often has only 4 baby swings. Needless to say, there is often a line. I tend to yank Harper out of the seat as soon as someone begins to wait. According to the June 2009 issue of Parents magazine, 5 minutes is an acceptable time to expect someone to wait. Parents Magazine also suggests that if you are getting death stares, you may want to issue a loud "Okay, it's almost time for the slide!" to set an expectation with both your child and the waiting parent.
Now you know!

Oh I hate that feeling. Then it totally rushes you and you can't even enjoy the moment. But 5 minutes is probably a good timeframe.
You should plant a garden. It hardly took any space!! If I can do it you can:)
